Manchester United have received a transfer boost after
a friend of Cristiano Ronaldo said the forward would
return to the Premier League.
Ronaldo’s former Sporting Lisbon teammate Jose
Semedo, who once played for Sheffield Wednesday,
believes the Real Madrid sensation will not retire
without another spell in England.
Semedo told talkSPORT : ‘He is very happy at Real
Madrid and he loves English football, he loves English
people and deep down I think he will come back to
England.
‘He doesn’t want to finish his career without coming
back to England.
‘He said he wishes Real Madrid was is in England, but
that is not possible so I believe he will end his career in
English football.’
